(4/7)This bay slapper is dedicated to my homie Max who was tragically taken in August of 2014. I’ve written several #pieces about him ranging from very sad to political, but none really reflected the vibrant individual he was. He was an emcee, producer, bboy, and visual artist. He even made the hat that I’m wearing in this picture. Exiting the #grieving stage meant finding ways to honor his life and look for ways to make sure he will always be remembered. It means I have a responsibility to do it big whenever possible; to fully take advantage of my one life for the ones that lost theirs.

While we can’t undo what’s been done, we can do it the max and that’s what I vow to do everyday in #2017.
